Okay, I bought an unlocked Note ten+ new at All-time Buy. Activated it on T-Mobile two weeks agone. Information technology had a system update that aforementioned day to Oct. 1, 2019. Now I'chiliad reading about the fingerprint update and I have not been notified for i and when I endeavour to manually update it I become that the organisation is up to date.
My question is, being unlocked, who notifies me and volition I miss out on updates such as the upgrade to ten? As per the fingerprint scanner, I think it sucks as does the trusted place unlock. Thanks for any and all help, I truly capeesh it.

Samsung sends it out to unlocked models

Don't worry, I had notation ix and pixel two xl unlocked on AT&T. Just sit and relax, updates volition come and you will get Android 10 when it is released by Samsung. I am now with TMobile, only it's the aforementioned deal. Security patching and Major Os upgrades are pushed to unlocked handsets by Samsung and not your carrier.

Yous'll only get the notification for the fingerprint update if you lot're actually using that class of authentication. Some people that turned off fingerprint when the security scare started are now wondering why they haven't received the update. Then, if you turned off the sensor (deleted your fingerprints), endeavour turning it dorsum on. That will likely trigger the notification for the update.

Thanks. I accept the fingerprint sensor on and use information technology the almost considering the darn trusted location works on day and non the next and basically, the fingerprint sensor works most every 3rd or fourth button.
